TIPP
(TechnoMetrica
Institute of Policy and Politics) is the nationally recognized polling
arm of TechnoMetrica.
TIPP was launched in 1997 and since then has been the leading innovator
in public opinion polling. With its innovative approach to polling,
TIPP has attracted some of the media's most respected players to
exclusive polling partnerships:
- As
the polling partner of Investor's
Business Daily (IBD), the fastest growing national newspaper
in America, TIPP regularly conducts high-profile polls of top
executives of the country's leading businesses.
- TIPP's
partnership with the Pulitzer Prize-winning publication, The
Christian Science Monitor, has produced some of the most
memorable polls in recent years. One notable example of this alliance
was the insightful and painfully human poll of Kosovar refugees
in 1999. This poll was the only one of its kind.
- TIPP
also regularly conducts the E & P/TIPP Newspaper Poll for Editor
& Publisher magazine, which has served journalists for
more than 100 years. In 1997, this alliance produced a groundbreaking
new methodology of polling. A national sample of editors and publishers
was used to gain insights into the views of their readership.
Currently
TIPP is working with it's media partners to bring to readers a monthly
poll, the National Outlook,
reflecting American's opinions on the state of the country. The
poll is comprised of three indices, the Economic
Optimism Index, the Presidential
Leadership Index and the National
Outlook Index.
TIPP
continues to innovate and measure the pulse of the American public.
